Comment: This has to rank somewhere on the list of worst album covers. I love this two drummer thing. The singer takes me back to seeing Snapcase at The Other World. The guitars are awesome but nothing beyond solid. Maybe not the most new and inventive but a fine album. I cranked this while alone at work and it definitely sounds best at high volume.

Comment: No, that’s not some weird overlaying effect on the drums. This band does, in fact, have two drummers. That alone makes them great. They also have male/female alternating vocals. Creativity in bunches. Intensely driving and hypnotic soundscape, droning on and on with only the spastic, almost tribal, drumming to stop you from breaking your face against the wall.
Best Songs: “Running Red”, “Almost Lost”, “Perception”

Comment: I heard this band a few years ago and I wondered why I couldn’t think of how they sounded. Well after this listen, I know why. It’s good for what it is, but this kind of “doom-punk” never really sat well with me. The mono-tone vocals are Snapcase-esque and sound like he is falling into a well on each phrasing. However, I do like the drumming ideas and some of soundscapes they created, as someone above mentioned, are pretty cool. I was hoping for a few faster songs that would sound like Tragedy or newer Converge. I’ll hang on to a few tracks and check back again on this.
