Comment: Its goodish. I knocked a few points off for on Structure/Composition because a lot of the songs get repetitive. I have a love/hate relationship with this singer. Sometimes I love his voice, other times I cannot stand it. He goes crazy falsetto a lot and it that makes my ears itch. The bass player and guitar player are very very good and overshadowed by the synths a fair amount. Someone should break that keyboard.
Best Song: “Cardiff in the Sun” and “White Socks, Flip Flops”
Worst Song: “Crazy Naked Girls”

Comment: I love SFA’s. Gruff Rhys, and SFA’s, are unique to say the least. Be thankful I didn’t recommend their album Mwng, which is entirerly in Welsh. Initially lumped into the Britpop movement, but they lean more towards electronica and lush psychedelia as well as just fun funky stuff (see Crazy Naked Girls). This album is fun and vibrant shifting between the aforementioned genres.
Best Song: “Cardiff in the Sun”, “Inconvenience”, “The Very Best Of Neil Diamond”
